Episode 11: From Broke College Student to $50 Million Portfolio by Age 24

David Toupin has always been entrepreneurial at heart beginning at a young age.  While he was in high school, he started a landscaping business, but he always had a yearning to get into real estate.  He thought he needed to get a high paying job in order to save up enough money to get into real estate so he worked hard in school and attained some high power internships in investment banking and consulting.  While interning, he fortuitously was introduced to podcasts where he soon discovered he could go into real estate investing full-time without needing a full-time job.  Ultimately, he decided to forego full-time six-figure job offers (Yes, you can earn six-figures as a fresh undergraduate in investment banking.) and went full-time into real estate in his junior year.  In this episode, David shares with us a number of challenges he faced and how he went from a broke college student to a $50 million multifamily portfolio by age 24.
