Have you come across a deal brought to you by a wholesaler, run the numbers, and decided it would not work out because there were too many layers of fees before it got to you?  Did you enter into a contract to purchase from a wholesaler and ended up losing out on the deal because the wholesaler did not have an interest in the property?    Ryan McEntee shares with us tips for working with wholesalers from the perspective of a wholesaler.  He also gives us insight into one of the biggest challenges he has encountered during his transition into multifamily real estate investing.

Ryan McEntee is the founder of Key Quest Acquisitions, LLC, a real estate investment company specializing in wholesaling and buy-and-hold strategies.  He’s a 22 year veteran crane operator during the day, a real estate investor at night.  Ryan has successfully completed many deals.  In the beginning, he became a real estate appraiser and then started out as a wholesalers, but now is transitioning into multifamily.  In this episode, Ryan provides insight into how we, as multifamily investors, can work with wholesalers for deal flow, and he takes behind the scenes and talks to us about one of the critical challenges he is finding in transitioning into larger multifamily property investments.

About Dion:

Dion Huey is a Co-founder at Delta Bridge Capital LLC which is a multifamily real estate investment company that invests in value-add apartment communities in the United States. He earned a master's degree in finance at Northeastern University in 2017 and worked on multiple business syndications as a financial analyst for Boston-based Plateau Asset Management which is a private equity search fund that has $30 million AUM. In 2017, Dion was an analyst on a deal team that advised Citic Investment Bank's Hong Kong private equity division on the syndication of a $1.5 billion acquisition of a hotel in New York. He is currently the host of The Multifamily Investor Situation Room Podcast.

In 2010 he co-founded Rocky Mountain Education and Technology Group which is a Beijing-based education services company that has serviced more than 5,000 clients.
